Another week, another game! If you have a chance try out my new game "Triadic Descent" and let me know if its too hard. Firebase tells me lots of level fails, but very few levels passed - basically users only pass a level 1 in 6 attempts! As such my user engagement is very low right now. Did I make it too hard?

Generally, you want the very first to be so simple that it cannot, literally CANNOT be failed. See level 1 of the original Cut The Rope for a great example. Then for levels 2, 3 and so on, you can ramp up the difficulty so that people don't think your game is too easy, but don't make it too hard too soon because otherwise the majority of your players will put down your game.

Thanks for the info - yes I think I might need to roll down the difficulty a lot on that first level.
