Open xCode -> Under "Window" -> Open "Devices and Simulator" -> you should see your device on the left hand side -> select your device -> and drop your build onto the device application section.

Hi all,

I'm normally live in a Windows/Android environment where everything is so simple.

But now I'm trying to test my game on an IPAD so I pinched my boy's Mac, borrowed an IPAD from a friend, upgraded IOS version on the Mac, on the IPAD as well, paid 150 Aussie dollars for my AppleDeveloper membership, upgraded xcode, created a certificate, provisioning profile .. puff puff .. and finally got Corona to build my game on the mac. Hoooray !

But then now i'm trying to send it to the ipad and i'm stucked.

I've managed to send it over but it's not installed so it does nothing with it.

One thing is the file created by Corona is called myapp.app   NOT myapp.ipa ? i'm not sure that's a problem but i'm just surprised.

I looked at itunes but it keeps wanting to synchronise the ipad which i'm not keen as the IPAD was originally from a different Mac.

so how can I do this now ? do I have to use xcode ? if so .. how ?

help !

disclaimer: i don't really 'understand' the mac environment so maybe it's very simple.

ps: I could have posted this in the IOS forum but this is really a 'IOS virgin' question.
