I went ahead and checked the "i confirm" box and submitted.

Since Apple actually forces you to check that box, I'm assuming admob must be honouring the limit ad tracking.

My app was rejected, but I think it's for a different reason.

hi

I'm submitting an update to my iOS app. This update is the first version to use ads. Specifically, I'm using the Corona Admob plugin, and I have an entry for it in my build settings.

I'm not sure if I now have to answer yes or no to:

"Does this app use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)?"

thanks.

If I answer yes then I am asked to confirm the following: I am using the admob plugin.

I confirm that this app, and any third party that interfaces with this app, uses the Advertising Identifier checks and honors a user's Limit Ad Tracking setting in iOS and, when it is enabled by a user, this app does not use Advertising Identifier, and any information obtained through the use of the Advertising Identifier, in any way other than for "Limited Advertising Purposes" as defined in the iOS Developer Program License Agreement.

Should I check yes to this?

Also, it asks if the identifier is used to:

1. Attribute this app installation to a previously served advertisement

2. Attribute an action taken within this app to a previously served advertisement

I'm not sure whether to check these boxes or not. Thanks.

I usually check the top two in case I end up advertising in the google store. You can check just the top one if you never plan to advertise.

Sorry, when you say the "top two", do you mean the top two as I've laid them out in my original post? Or as they appear in iTunesconnect whey you're about to submit? And I'm not sure what you mean by "if you never plan to advertise". Do you mean advertise my app? Thanks.

Here is an article. In the first picture, I usually click 1 and 2.

Thanks.

How about the last one, "limit ad tracking setting in iOS"? I have read older articles saying that Admob does "honor the user's "Limit ad tracking setting". Is this still true?

Also, will apple fail my app if I don't check "I confirm...." ?
