Hello,

I hope this is the right forum to post related issues and help request for calendar plug-in, https://docs.coronalabs.com/plugin/calendar/

I need to add an event onto Android-only calendar, but its default timezone, after inserted, is UTC. There is actually a "EVENT_TIMEZONE" in Android calendar provider, https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/providers/calendar-provider.

(1) How do I specify this "timezone" using, addEvent()? using https://docs.coronalabs.com/plugin/calendar/addEvent.html.

Also, there is a "DESCRIPTION" too, in Android calendar provider.

(2) How do I specify this "description" using addEvent()?

Thank you.

Regards, Luan

PS> I am using Simulator 2018.3258 on Windows 10.

This sounds like a feature that needs to be added to the plugin. I don't see any parameters that allow you to control the timezone or add a description.

Normally I would suggest creating a feature request, but this seems like a couple of important omissions.  Instead can you file a bug report. You will need a small sample app and include it with your submission (use the Report a Bug link at the top of the page). That way we can get an engineering task created to get this looked at.

That said, we have our engineering team tied up with high priority issues right now. It may be a while before this can get looked at.

Rob
