Do widgets require 320x480 base content area?

In the past I was informed that to make widgets perform currently at different scales I should use the base content area of 320x480. Is this still correct? I could not find any mention of this in the documentation.

There used to be a time when some widgets (I believe the spinner and others) only worked when you used a config.lua resolution of 320x480.


I do believe that was rectified and all widgets should work well at any resolution.


If you're having a specific problem or seeing a particular weird behavior please post here about it and if you can, provide a small sample that demonstrates the issue.

Many of the widgets let you control their size or you can create custom skins where you can.  Somethings like the scroll bars on a scrollView widget don't scale.
