Hi @efares11,

Welcome to Corona! I maintain the guides and tutorials, so I hope I can answer accurately. Basically, while they're similar, a "guide" is generally a comprehensive overview on a particular subject like audio, sprites, physics, etc... so you should go there if you're looking for high-level information about an aspect of Corona. Tutorials, on the other hand, are generally more tailored to accomplishing one thing in your app, like spawning objects, implementing continuous actions, building a score counter, etc.

Hope that clarifies things,

Brent

Hi,

Newbie question here but what exactly is the difference between the Guides and Tutorials?

They seem to have some similar headings and sections. Should I just read and review both of them? When should I refer to each one?

Thanks!
