Unless you're explicitly using one of the encryption libraries, you would answer, "No." to the question.

The way Apple asks about it is a little confusing.

Most of the time the answer is, 'No.'

Hi,

In iTunes connect, I have to answer whether or not my app uses encryption. I'm not familiar with encryption, but I looked it up and I now know the basis of what it is. I don't actively use encryption in my app, but I'm not sure if I'm unknowingly using it "behind the scenes" in some of my functions.

Would anyone know if in-app-purchases or ads use encryption? I've googled this and haven't found any definitive answers.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Dan
