Changing anchor points ruins sprite

So I've searching for an answer for this but it seems that for sprites created from imagesheet : you can't change their anchor points without ruining the sprite animation. For ex. I have a character walking animation/sequence and I want to use bottom reference point/anchorY to make sure the guy's walking on land.


Right now, if I change the value of anchor points the sprites animation becomes weird cause it seems all the frames now follows the new anchor points.

I've been googling for this and based on some discussion it seems to be the case. Is this still the case and won't be resolved anytime soon?

Just wanna make sure before I need to start to figure out how I can make this work :(
