Whilst out on a jolly good Hot Air Balloon jaunt, Harry's been blown off course and into the busy city sky.  Help Harry to navigate through the skyline.  How far will you get?

 

 

Hot Air Harry includes 2 game modes.  Touch controls and Tilt controls.

 

While Touch controls present a challenge for any gamer, the Tilt controls turn Hot Air Harry into what we believe to be one of the hardest games on the Appstore.  You'll need all your reflexes and twitch gaming skills to keep Harry aloft!

 

Although the screenshots may appear to be some kind of flappy bird clone, the gameplay is quite different, with the unique Hot Air Balloon controls.

 

Increase the size of your Hot Air Balloon to move up, decrease to move down.  Sound's simple!  In practice though you need to take into account the increased upward speed as you blow the balloon up and the increased downward speed when the balloon is small as you want to change direction.

 

Hot air Harry includes GameCenter achievements and 2 leaderboards, 1 for Touch and 1 for Tilt scores.  You also have the option to post your score to Facebook or Twitter to challenge your friends.  This is an entirely optional feature and you are no way required to post.

 

Hot Air Harry also features a unique graphical style, where by everything is made of squares, using high res art work to bring out the best of the device its running on.

Hot Air Harry is almost ready for iOS & Androfd, I've just implemented google play game service for the android version, so both versions will have leaderboards and achievements!

Just a quick update to say that Hot Air Harry has now been submitted for approval to Apple. The Android version is also close to release.

Thanks, hopefully it does better than the ios version at launch, but with no keywords etc on the play store, not sure how they get found!

Dunno if you want feedback? I think the game is good and the concept is very cool with the hot air balloon getting bigger and smaller.   But damn it is hard. I have a somewhat respectable score of 54 in Flappy birds but struggling with 2 on this. I also think the advertising between games is too aggressive, it is too annoying for me to stick with this game.  I also wish the restarting would be more or less instant.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, which part of the advertising? The video ads? How often would you recommend? I guess it depends how long you last as to how long it is before seeing ads. most people testing it for me have got up to around 15-25 after several goes, It was harder at first, but I did make it easier, tilt controls are harder.

At the moment it's after every 3rd go it's a chartboost ad with 1 in 3 ads being vungle, I could up it to a higher gap.

Except for top 5 no one has over 5 on Game Center :) That is also part of the charm, but at least I wish it would do an instant one click restart and get straight into the action after my 1 score. I really like it, so that is why I decided to comment.

Ah right, your on ios, there's a new version submitted for it which fixes the physics body being slightly too large, it should help out when that's released. I had to leave some time between as on old devices it seemed to not have enough time to clear the storyboard scene if I went in less than a second. I can look at it though. I could add an option for restart and one for menu to skip the control select screen. Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated!

I have just implemented the changes you mentioned.  loading screen speed is now .5 seconds, not 1.5, and the retry will now go into the same control method game you had just used, a menu button will go back to the menu screen.  Thanks for the feedback.
