Hi guys,

I'm trying to submit my app into the showcase here but everytime I
try to do that I fail. Reason is, everytime I press upload button to
submit an image, the other "Browse" button suddenly deactivated and no matter
what won't be available anymore.

I've tried using FF, Chrome, Safari and even.... IE !!!

How do you guys get showcase submission working???

Ah finally managed to make it working :)
The trick is to make sure you hit Preview each time you finish uploading something to refresh the state of the buttons

Anyway,
How do I know if my app is eligible for AOTW contest? I already put a corona badge like this : http://kungfuquest.iplayallday-studio.com

Will that be enough?

Thanks

Hi @yanuar - Apologies for the bugs in the showcase. We're going to be launching a new and improved showcase soon - stay tuned!

Your game looks great! As you know, to be eligible for App of the Week your app must be submitted to the Corona Showcase and your website must include a "Made with Corona" badge. You can see more details here: http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2012/05/07/app-of-the-weekmonth-updated-rules/

Please note that you may be selected as App of the Week at any time (not just in the week you submitted your app), and we'll contact you directly if you're the winner. If you have any questions, shoot me at email at innaATcoronalabs.com.

Have a great weekend!
Inna

Thanks for the response Inna,

Yeah I already put the badge on the game's page :) and here's hoping Corona will update the showcase system soon so developers won't get frustated.

In the mean time, I like to share this featured article by TouchArcade :
http://toucharcade.com/2013/08/02/attention-kung-fu-master-fans-check-out-kungfu-quest-the-jade-tower/

apparently they love the game so much, they feature it just a day after the release without me even asking it :D

Here's hoping more to follow soon so people can know more about how awesome Corona is

Cheers and have a nice weekend too

Hey Yanuar this game is awesome I bought the full version yesterday and found it hard to put down! You've definately made a hard game though getting knocked down a level each time you fail is harsh. Luckily it is fun to mix up the combos to achieve the best result. Awesome work! Will you guys be doing any updates or is it pretty much finished?

hey, thanks for playing my game and purchase it too :)

For now I'm still focusing on marketing effort and making sure the game is working fine.

There are plans on what to do next, probably adding contents or making a spin-off game, though I'm not sure what will work best.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Are you planning to get the android or the ios?
If it's android please kindly leave a rating/review, can't believe people give 1 * review cause the game won't run on their device or because they have to unlock stages :(

I am using iOS only, but this sounds not very good :(

I may end up releasing my projects to certain stores only like the samsung or Ouya store...

well, it's not that bad.. the complains mostly come from a certain country though. At the moment I just leave it as it is until it gets out of hand.

This is interesting... I can not wait to see my first results ;)

Edit: I have seen some people complainin about iOS 7 compatibility issues with a new Worms game......... Some people are just strange ;)

try not to get emotional about it though cause sometimes you get something like this :
"Die ersten levels sind kostenlos, aber dann wirds kostenpflichtig. Ist zwar günstig, aber diese art von freemium find ich trotzdem dreist!"

If you google translate, he basically pissed of cause only the first few levels are free :D and gave me 1 * review :(

I do not need google translator because I am German ;) His argumentation is strange and I think that he is just an exceptional case. However I know that especially in Germany people do not really "like" IAPs... I do not have any problems with it but someone else like him might feel a little bit tricked if there is no "warning" about potential IAPs (lol). There are even hints in the app page ;)

Hi guys,

Just quick update, after following this awesome program called 100% indie http://www.100percentindie.com , Kung Fu Quest is now also available at Samsung Apps which is great cause Samsung Apps allows carrier billing as well.

I'm starting to see some international sales growing :)

Here's the link : http://apps.samsung.com/mercury/topApps/topAppsDetail.as?productId=000000646989

Also, the game is also available on NOOK as well altough I'm still not sure how Nook curates their apps, their front page look very weird with many low rating apps.
