Hello All,

We are a brand new mobile gaming company based in the UK and Singapore and are looking for an experienced Corona developer to work remotely on a project which has a very tight deadline.

The project leans heavily on social elements combined with animation. All screens are fully wireframed out and all assets for the game are currently being finalised and will be available ahead of development. We are therefore looking for a very highly focussed and motivated individual, who is capable of working in an agile manner for the duration of this short burst project.

We require skills and experience in the following:

  • Corona SDK

  • LUA

  • 2D skeletal animation (Spriter, Spine?)

  • Great communication skills

  • Proven mobile development track record

  • Delivery focussed

  • Facebook API integration

  • Solid understanding and adherence to Corona best practice

  • IAP on both the appstore and google play

  • Familiarity of the Appstore submission processes

  • 'Have a go' attitude to the SDK where required

  • Appreciation of differing requirements for tablet vs mobile

  • Ability to cleanly segment code for reuse where applicable

We will pay market rates for the right person and in return will expect a high level of passion, commitment and a huge degree of creativity that goes beyond the bland list of technical requirements above. In a word, we're looking for can do attitude and professionalism combined with a methodical approach to providing technical solutions.

We are planning to release the game on both IOS and Android on the 16th May 2013 and therefore require our developers to be able to literally hit the ground running.

If you feel that you are the right person for this challenging but ultimately very rewarding gig, then please drop me a line quoting your experience, a few examples of your work and more importantly, the rate that you'd hope to achieve for such a contract. I myself am an experienced Java/.Net developer and am the team lead. I'll be aiming to find developers that blow me away with their insights and knowledge of the Corona world, as well as hopefully putting me straight on my expectations for the game via the Corona platform.

Contact me in the first inst via: jimibt@dsl.pipex.com and let's see if we can find a common ground and get the ball rolling.

'Animate your emotions...'
