I heard (from a colleague) that Apple has begun running a (static) analyzer on submitted appStore content looking for what they might interpret as "bad behavior" (private method access).

What does this mean for the Corona product on the iPhone platform (if anything)?

Have developers begun to see any recent rejections based on any work they have done using Corona?

To me, this move seems suspiciously targeted at one specific company, which is not Ansca, but I'm curious what the effect will be across the board with 3rd party app dev tools that target iPhone.

Scott,

we don't call any private methods, don't allow for any code to execute outside of the corona environment, and above all, with Corona, you must use the iPhone SDK to sign your app with your Apple certificate, thus, adhering much more closely to the Apple SDK licensing agreement.

we have not heard of any Corona developer being rejected for "private method access".

Hope this helps.

The app is named Flip 'Em Off!

It's a fairly simple lights out clone.
