The docs state:

display.captureScreen( saveToAlbum )
Captures the contents of the screen and returns it as an image object positioned so that the top-left of the screen is at the origin. If saveToAlbum is false, then it adds the image to your device's album; on the simulator, it saves to the desktop.

This is a little vague to me...I've tried several things...but none have saved the screen to the photo directory on the iPhone. I'm simply trying to save an image (not the full screen) to the photo directory. Maybe it's just lack of sleep. :)

This appears to be a bug. I've been able to reproduce this and am submitting it to our bug base.
