Hello folks,

Thanks in advance. I'm new to Corona. Recently I have started working on corona. I am developing tile based game, so I used 'Tiled Map Editor'. I successfully created map and exported in JSON format.

Now my problem is, I saw one code snippet from https://developer.coronalabs.com/code/corona-tiled#comment-145919 .... where it mentioned  tiledMap = require("tiled"). But I don't know where will I get this 'tiled.lua'.

Can anyone help me?

I don't know about that, but i know of two great tiled map loaders/renderers (that offer a whole lot more than just that)

MTE (million tile engine) is one, and Dusk is the other.

The first one is just over twenty bucks, the second one is free.

You can find them via a google search, i don't have the links to hand I'm afraid.

Hope this helps

Thank you gremlin-interactive for quick revert. I used dusk loader but corona gives error. Cause dusk use '/' slash for path to import file and corona doesn't support slash. It would be great help If you provide me any example for dusk used in corona project

Corona does support slashes to import files, with the exception of Lua files.

I would post on the Dusk forums, (or Dusk thread?) As they are more knowledgeable on the subject than I, as I haven't used them personally.

Cheers

Just to clear things up, Dusk is an amalgam of several projects; what you've linked to was one of them. Dusk was formed when the creator of that library ('no2games') and I blended our two Tiled libraries, spun them around, dunked them in radioactive fluid, and grafted on a lot of previous stuff. Voila! Dusk.
